Buy a used Yeti for 20-50.
>>
>>382208407
The Blue Yeti is a 100 dollar stainless steel toy. Anything good you heard about it, forget it. They're lies pushed by hobbyists who have no idea what they're talking about.
>>
>>382207312
Go Turtle beach like any fag that uses Headsets instead
>>
>>382208639
Very good original content from WeeGeePlays
Funny he started stealing /v/ memes and grew up to steal whole videos
>>
>>382207312
You can get a chink BM800 quite cheap on ali.

MSI DS502

It's the headset Rich at Reviewtech uses. Whatever your opinion of the dude is, his voice still sounds good when using that headset.

I use a headset mic and nobody has ever complained about the quality of it. In fact people often ask me what mic I have.

>mfw it cost me 25€ on sale
>>
I got the yeti because it was at a good sale price ($70)

It's really good. You don't have to be close to it, and it only picks up noises where it's pointed to.

The only meme one is the snowball.

Modmic

WeeGeePlays is a try hard elitist who has terrible arguments. He's also a fat fuck ugly motherfucker and I don't listen to fat fucks.
>>
>>382207312

Either buy a Kingston HyperX Cloud Headset or use a basic clip-on microphone that you can attach to your headphones or one you can put on your desk.
>>
>>382207673
The mindless poorfag mentality is a real thing you know?

Consume then don't have cash for actually useful stuff.
>>
>>382209126
I second this. I use the analog version of it through an interface so I can record some tracks, but for just voice chat get the USB one.
>>
>>382207312
I use the Yeti Pro on usb mode.
>>
>>382210661
>Kingston HyperX Cloud
Don't bother OP. This headgear sucks shit
>>
>>382210567
>>382208639
soulbrothanumbah3 says it's for hobbyists. His whole video was about being a voice actor and requiring the "best" equipment to set yourself apart.

That faggot weegee completely missed the point and thought he was just ripping on the yeti. The Yeti is a fine mic for anyone looking for entry level stuff, or just better quality audio for casual uses.

Logitech G230 its like 20 bucks

You dont need anything else
>>
>>382210661
i've had this headset for 3 years and it's done me well. mic is good quality too. voice comes out crisp in discord and skype.
>>
>>382209126
Cheaper if you have an interface already for the xlr, the 2020USB costs more than the Yeti
>>
You can get a condenser Microphone from China off of ebay for like $20, free shipping.

The quality isn't even that bad, considering this is an environment where people use headset mics.
Also, if it's just for playing games, you're only ever going to be picking up regular voice, and the audio is either going to be edited in real time or not at all, so as long as it's not ridiculous, like Xbox headset tier, the quality isn't actually a big deal.

If you spend/have spent any more than $20 on a microphone for the sole purpose if VOIP, you're a big idiot.

This. I bought this chinkshit condenser mic and for like 20 bucks it beats a ton of expensive mics. Small amount of noise but any decent motherboard these days has soundcard software can filter that out. No phantom power required either.
>>
>>382214910
Huh, by just talking?
>>
Is there anything worth buying in the around 30€ price range? I know to not expect anything great, just something that's a bit better than zalman clip on mic for 10 (mostly less background noise) would be fine. I would mostly use it for twitch streaming, but I don't plan to become a professional streamer or anything, I just want people to be able to understand what the fuck I am saying without too much of a background hissing.
>>
>>382207312
Whats a good mic that can connect directly into the ps4 control?
>>
For just online gaming you dont need anything more than 20 bucks. Ive been using the mic off an old headset for over 10 years while using a real seinheiser headphones.
>>
>>382207312
don't you fucking buy the blue yeti i am warning you. that this is the not your best option for the money. get >>382209126 instead because better, cheaper, not as fucking huge seriously the yeti is gigantic.
>>
You want something that works? Get literally any mic in the 15-20 dollars range. That's it.

HyperX Cloud I / II (not Revolver or Stinger or whatever other shit they have) is just a clone of the Beyerdynamic DT770, but at 60 Ohms.

The enclosure is a bit closer to the DT880 or the Custom One, but it's close enough that for under $80 with a mic it's absolutely impossible to beat for the price.

It's that one fluke "gaming headset" out there that is actually high quality.
>>
>>382207312
USB mics are going to be shit until they start using USB type C with the extra power it can push out audio quality will improve.
>>
>>382216672
Not likely that it will sound well, sorry. The mic seems as it requires lots of power, and will need an audio interface to get that power. It would still "work" with just a direct XLR to 3.5, however the signal would be really shitty because the mic doesnt have enough power to get a clear signal.

^^ not bad
>>
i use a guitar hero usb mic

i do want a pop filter though
>>
Get a modmic v4/v5.

Don't ever buy garbage """gaming""" headsets.
>>
>>382217757
ok thanks for clarifying. i'd like to get the at2020 but the usb version is stupidly expensive, it's like a 50€ price difference over here. i guess ill get something else
>>
>>382208639
Oh look, someone fell for that retarded video.
