Thread is bait. I played like 100 games in Season 3 shitfaced plastered and never managed to dip below mid silver. I still barely ever try and often times I'm playing with a 6 stack that includes total shitters because we have fun, and I'm still in high gold. I think with each season I hit a plateau.

I started in bronze last season, worked my way almost to gold like 1992 or something, then lost 400 sr. I placed in silver this season worked my way out to Gold but now it's W, L, W, L forever and my SR pretty much hasn't budged.

Season 3 I got to the 1800s, last season I barely broke plat and hovered around 2400-2600. Now I'm stuck at around the 2700s.

I'm having a hard time getting back into diamond. Ive made it consistently for the last few seasons, but have peaked at about 100 away this time. Is something different or do I just suck now?

The thing is as Overwatch has gotten bigger I'm seeing more and more pros say the opposite. That the game is over as soon as your in you team because you got matched with shit players.

I mean, I played a match and had a 4 stack for 2 games and 6 for 2 more. We won 3 matches in a row, on the 4th match we played on Ilos and lost the first round. Just the first round, and one of the players on my team became immediately toxic. Shouting at a teammate, demanding they switch, and turning on anyone who asked him to calm down.

It's amazing to me how quickly attitudes go south and can ruin a game.

We even came back and won the game but the guy didn't let that first round go.
