>Games that /v/ tricked you to buy this Steam Summer Sale
>Dude go collect scrabs it's so fun LOL
I liked it. Like zero replay value, but taking down bases and upgrading the car was fun, bam ham combat be damned
I recently played it. I liked it, but I'm also after marathoning the four Mad Max movies and loved them.
As far as the game goes it does have it's good points but it suffers from modern day collectathon disease. Also, combat is fun but pretty shallow, like the entire game.

Except every thread someone posted it we would all laugh at them for putting it in their cart. Don't blame other people for your own stupidity

It's the best of the Arkham/Assassins Creed style games, so liking it is predicated on liking that genre. I personally liked it more than MGSV, which came out on the same day.

how can anyone even compare? what makes these games what they are isn't the combat but rather the ability to traverse the environment, climb, jump, etc. Max can barely run, can't climb, weak jump that isn't ever useful, he's a very boring character to move around.

He was a boring character. Everything noteworthy happens around him but the character beyond the first film could be wearing a mask for all he actually matters as a person. And the first movie isn't much like any others in the franchise.

It's so mediocre it hurts. The graphics are good, the controls work fine, there's no noticeable bugs or glitches; but it's just so goddamn boring.
