Tomb Raider reboot. Played 1 hour before I couldn't take it anymore. I mean I already knew the game had absolutely nothing to do with the original saga, but I still felt disgusted at everything.

It is a fucking mess. The directing is trash, the gameplay is a slapdash mess of half-baked ideas because the devs panicked after everyone hated the demo, and Mitsuda is desperately trying to hold everything together in the background with his music that is way too melodramatic for how awful the scenes play out.

The story is interesting, but the director must have suffered strokes every day for the last seven years because the way it's delivered is absolute shit.

You need to build a higher tolerance. I've beaten Nights of Azure. Valkyria Revolution is nothing more than a visual novel with generic Dark Souls combat. You sit through cutscenes, look at the briefing (trying to figure out the crackhead map design) then figure out a way to cheese the objectives as fast as possible, which normally results in a low overall score.

I forgot to mention, that you should research bazookas and grenades. You can unload your supply, push up or down to switch characters, then capture a base and have everything restored.

On the gimme maps where you have to face your teammates. Target them, then kill them as fast as possible with heavy ammunition. The faster you complete missions, the faster you receive money. Which can be exchanged for raw materials to make your gear/bag even more powerful. Don't even bother with guns in this game.

The story is really bad, and most of the game is cutscenes. The combat is a joke due to cheesing and exploiting the target/roll system. It's a game for kids that have never played a Souls game before.
