Wasteland 3 is coming in 2019, Pillars of Eternity 2 sometime next year, Divinity releases on the 14th september.

Those sold well.
The CRPG Renaissance made everyone believe they could just shit out some mediocre CRPG attempt and make mad cash with it.

At the end only Pillars, Divinity and Wasteland sold well.
Everything else either barely made profit or bombed.

How the fuck do I really get into Pillars of Eternity? I've started up like 5 separate characters, but the game just never hooks me and I inevitably drop it again. Any gimmicky classes or suggestions for anything I can do?

I thought it was ok and a good premise but it feels like half a game and I don't mean that in terms of length. This 'Tales from the teirs' dlc they just releaced should have been in the game from the start. As well as the upcoming expansion that adds companion quests. It all should have been in the game on day 1 and it reeks of Paradox nickel and dime meddling. It also needs another act or an expanded act 3 to wrap everything up properly.

Since it's kind of related is it normal for pillars of eternity or wasteland to burn my fucking PC, both CPU and GPU?
Am I supposed to expect it because of unity?
Fuckers make it 70-80°C hot within 5-10 minutes of gameplay while more demanding games like GTA V or Witcher 3 made it 60-70°C after playing for 30-60 minutes.

It is as much worth it as any other god, there are some encounters that develop differently for a priest of a certain god and you get a special weapon trait option, and if you like playing thinky characters that are not prone to emotional fits being a priest of berath improves your abilities.
