.. the diamond circlet already does that.. so does the guardian armor set.. I actually think the jewelry options are pretty dumb since they don't let you get a set bonus and they still give the same amount of protection as the set head pieces.

I think the circlets/earrings should give 2 to the resistance, so that in places that require 2 cold resistance you could just wear earrings to mitigate the temperature rather than wearing the full snowquill set or eating 2 cold resist food.

It's okay when Nintendo does DLC.

My immersion was already ruined when they FORCED me to update to the firmware 1.1.2. It feels jankier. They definitely made some compromises at least to the Wii U version to tailor it to the Switch version without giving a damn what kinks it results in. I don't remember enemies disappearing before when you lead them so many paces away from their territory.

I seriously stopped playing the game over this and am waiting for the DLC hoping it fixes it.

How about new armor mechanics like Day Speed Up, Faster Riding, Faster Stamina Regeneration, Less Stamina Usage while Running, another Stealth set, Higher Attack when more Damage Taken, etc.

You can't farm for money with snow bowling as effectively anymore. They randomized the safe area so now you can't just toss the snowball down the same general area and win 200 rupees. I was pissed out of my mind since you have to grind entirely too much fucking money in this game. Just an irresponsible amount of fucking money. It's filler bullshit, just like searching for the ingredients to upgrade certain armor sets.
