something like this
it just fits Samus since she was from the 80's
This does more
>>382069095
more of this
>>382069274
>This does more
no
absolutely not
it's a 70s type of underwear
and it conveys vulnerability, not physical fitness.

You're retarded.
>>382069498
go on
>>382069095
I always like these version of Samus instead of the Zero-suit version.
>>382069585
a handful of loose references to Alien don't mean that Samus should be like Ripley.
You know what happened when they tried making Samus like Ripley? Other M happened.
>>382070027
Incorrect, if anything, it just means that Sakamoto didn't understand Alien

Can we just get Samus in a sundress?
I want more comfy samus.
>>382069375
Typical panties in the 70's had a much higher waist then that.
Legwarmers were also a big thing in the late 70's, but like the Alien franchise it's also an 80's phenomenon.
It doesn't convey vulnerability, it conveys femininity. Samus is a woman under that armor. Ripley wasn't a vulnerable character in that scene either
>>382070027
She was less like Ripley in that game than she was in simpler games like Metroid II, where she wears Ripley's underwear also, which I thought looked nice. I never got putting her in boots, the armor is already pretty much her clothing.
I fucking love Justin Bailey Samus and I wish Nintendo would actually do something with the design.
>>382069882
SNES pixels are not square, they are rectangular. Super Metroid Samus wouldn't look like that in-game.
>>382070714
I'll give you one that isn't bad.
>>382070583
>Typical panties in the 70's had a much higher waist then that.
Wrong
fucking wrong
high-waist low-cut. was 50s and 60s
70s was low-waist low-cut (like Ripley)
It conveys vulnerability. It looks like something a little girl (as opposed to a woman) would wear.
>>382070821
needs leg warmer
>>382070714
we all love Justin Bailey Samus
I really like green haired samus
>>382070826
It existed but no that was more of an 80's theme.
No it doesn't, the female form isn't inherently vulnerablein fiction
>>382069095
>Leg warmers
Don't make a tribute design if you're going to add shit.
>>382070821
I have a bunch more ZSS images but they're not on the laptop that I'm using.
>>382070920
I'm still mad that this wasn't an alt in Smash 4. I main ZSS and would've worn the hell out of that thing.
Also, I still kinda wish that Samus actually had green hair and that her look outside of the suit was closer to Justin Bailey than anything, although I kinda feel like it'd clash against the Varia Suit too.
I love the zero suit but I also love me some Justin Bailey. They should bring that outfit back at least once.
They should've this desing
Much better than generic blonde girl
>>382071081
>It existed but no that was more of an 80's theme.
It was a holdover from the 70s and eventually stopped around 86.
>the female form isn't inherently vulnerable
Low-cut panties don't belong on a woman, they belong on a little girl. They make hips look narrow and the body look rectangular. Like a child's.
The point of showing Ripley in those panties wasn't to make her look feminine, it was to make her look vulnerable and childlike. That's also why she's hiding in a closet from the monster and singing a lullaby to herself.
Those panties do not convey full-grown, assertive femininity. They convey immature, fragile femininity.

This. The shape of her panties in Metroid II makes the best clothes/underwear shes had, we dont need Ripely's exact outfit.
