But the gameplay is always boring and padded as hell. Usually with a steep difficulty curve at the end of the game.
Stuff locked behind hidden conditions for the "True" ending and other CGI sequences that require an online guide. Because there's nothing in-game that clues you in on secret time limits or bosses that you're NOT suppose to kill.

And you got to wonder about the localization team actually does. It's like they're not allowed to change the speaking order or the number of Textboxes in a screen? Because you press 'skip' and it goes through 50 textboxes of them talking in circles and saying a whole lot of nothing.

I spent far over 10 hours grinding in Nep because the combat was fun/fast and I felt like I was actually progressing
I can stand maybe 15 minutes of grinding in Fairy Fencer because the exp scaling is fucking nonexistent but it really doesn't matter because you can solo the whole game as Fang and considering every other party member is a shitter compared to even the worst characters in Nep
