I have a good PC and I'm waiting for Hollow Knight on Switch. Le portable meme is just a meme but to me it really feels like I'd be wasting money if I didn't buy the version that has portability. Indies are a fickle thing, It depends on what each platform offers, some more than others.

Steam is the one stop shop all platform, It has virtually every single indie in digital format, and easy access to them, However its locked to PC.

Console based indies via PSN/E-shop are no different than PC but with limited options other than non thired party direct controller support But things like say Limited run, and other producers make indie titles for the physical crowds who'd rather immortalize great games with their other ones. Case in point, I have LRG's Skullgirls because I love it soo much, and I like couch co-op over KBM,

Handheld indies are the best possible outcome, they run great, and you can take them everywhere, which is why its so great because indies are usually short and sweet, or have open and infinite replayability due to simplicity. Local multiplayer is also a huge plus.
