Ricochet is a hilarious nonsensical multiplayer-only FPS/platformer experiment which has been 100% dead for decades but still has official servers. It is basically their one genuinely bad game.

Most of their older multiplayer games are completely replaced by successors. For example Left4Dead 2 includes 100% of Left4Deads content, with tons of improvements.

Everything else is a classic. All of their singleplayer games (ie. the Half-Life and Portal series) were genre-defining or redefining titles. Portal is very nearly a 'perfect' game.

I bought it for CS:GO which is $10 by itself and I know I'll replay L4D and L4D2 at some point and the two Portal games. So yes I'd recommend it.
