Sup, /v/ery nice people
I'm going to a meetup to hang out with my bros soon from online and I decided I wanted to bring my SNES and a few games.
I have a pretty decent sized collection, so I was wondering if there are any multiplayer/games where its easy to take turns that I'm missing.
Pic related, it's what I'm bringing so far.

Don't forget to bring an uncharged jo crystal

No need bro, I always hit my bro up with a reload if he needs it.
muh bump
bro the SNES is epic

ya, HELLA epic

My go-to's are SF2, Mario Kart, F-Zero and Secret of Mana if we're in for a long haul. You hit all the major points.

It's stupidly surprising how many people don't know Secret of Mana has a great multiplayer mode. SF2 is a MUST for parties/meetups with a SNES.

Goof Troop and Turtles in Time
>>382056827
Unfortunately I'm letting someone borrow my Turtles in Time right now. I've never played Goof Troop and I've had it in the past, but traded it away.

In my /b/ thread someone also suggested this. I almost forgot all about this game. It's a definite choice for me.

bomberman with the splitter

Super bomberman 1 or 2?
Which is better and what are the differences? I have both, but haven't gotten around to playing them yet.

Could consider adding Contra, NBA Jam, and Killer Instinct.

There's no possible way this could go wrong.

My copy isn't the prettiest, but I really never considered bringing it to the meetup. I've played it SP, but never tried the MP.
Thanks for the advice.
>>382058916
Good one, almost forgot about that.
>>382059216
NBA jam and Contra replaced Primal Rage on my list so far.
Just bring Turtles in Time.
Just be sure to bring your Timberlands and knee braces!
>>382061484
I'm always rocking my timbs.
>>382061557
Don't forget the knee braces!

Good man, it's a blast with friends the feeling you get when you nail your opponent after they bailed out of their mech just before they could get to another one is priceless.
>>382061772
What brand??
>>382061947
When I was playing it the first time it reminded me of another mech game that looks/plays almost the exact same. I have them both, but can't recall the other one.

Replying to myself here, but I just remembered it. It's the way less expensive "Cybernator". I do think that Metal Warriors plays a little better than Cybernator, though.
I was very lucky to get Metal Warriors at a yard sale last year for $20.

Cybernator (Assault Suit Valken) is a fine game but no multiplayer. Metal Warriors was made by Lucas Arts, NCS went on to make other Assault Suit games but some of the team from NCS who worked on Valken moved over to Squaresoft and made Front Mission Gun Hazard for the SFC, which is a absolutely fantastic game. JPonry though, it has a full translation and you can get the translated ROM on a repo-cart, but again like Valken no multiplayer.

I love that the majority of good of JP onry games have reliable fan translations available to the public. It's allowed me to get great english repros such as Terranigma, Bahamut Lagoon, Clock Tower and Live A Live. I have probably 10 or so translated repros.
Unfortunately, I won't have enough time to get a repro of that game (Front Mission Gun Hazard) before the meetup, but I'll definitely pickup a copy.
A little off subject, but speaking of jpn only are you a fan of the Star Ocean series? I've been collecting a majority of them and I just bought 3 missing guide books for a few Star Ocean games. I love the detailed art work in them. I've heard that the GBC game Start Ocean: Blue Sphere is amazing, but no complete fan translation exists as of now. I'd also love a translated version of the SFC Yu Yu Hakusho games.
