If you mean just the text it's alright, not sure how accurate everything is but the only time I stopped and went "that's obviously the translator fucking around" was with stuff like America and 'the flame of JUSTICE.' If you mean the patch as a whole it's pretty shit. Text wraps around the box fairly often, you get some sprite glitches which makes for one really odd cutscene pretty late into the game, and heroes flat out crash the game in the last two-three chapters if you hover over them unless you turn an option off. It obviously doesn't stack up to other translations like Project Naga but it's the only story translation Thracia has currently and it will get you through the game.

Yeah it's pretty great, my only real problem with it is that it names the stat boosters seraph robes and dracoshields and such when they're clearly rings. I'm sure Sety -> Ced triggers some people too.

Wonder what the next Echo game is. IS said they would like to do FE6 next but I wonder if they are going to hold that off and just go in order.

I didn't stutter. The gameplay is shit. It uses strength of numbers to make itself appear difficult. I don't like gameplay like that in Fire Emblem. I hear Thracia does the same thing and it's one of the reasons why I don't want to waste my time with it.

Although I enjoyed it a lot, I'm not sure if I'm ready to put it above PoR. Story was great, loved seeing all the intrigue and shit and loved the unique gameplay mechanics that boiled everything down to a single resource (gold). But then the maps, despite being great when there are enemies to fight, make the game unbalanced in favor of cavalry and are boring as fuck to traverse when you need to get from point A to B. The game was also weird in terms of difficulty, with Lewyn and Ced destroying everything, but then having Leif forced to face several strong bosses and spear enemies at the same time. Seriously, what were they thinking with that?

But I need to give it props for some legit emotional moments, like the pegasus fight in Silesse that you could do nothing but watch, or king Travant going for his last attack, half knowing he's in the wrong.

I agree, don't get me wrong, the AI is great and some of the maps are damn good, but people act like the levels are consistently 10/10 when there are some stinkers and bad gimmick levels

the weapon triangle changes, shurikens, skill bloat, and My Castle randomized weapon drops are also things I have some problems with, but to the game's credit it managed to make pair-up reasonably balanced
