It feels like MS is in the same place Sega was in with the DC, and they're throwing all these experimental features and upgrades at the Xbone to try and give it a fighting chance to compete. It didn't work for Sega, but they weren't as big as Microsoft is.

why? there are so many ways to emulate shit for free. you are fucking retarded. You can have emulators for free on basically every other console, you can connect your PC to your TV and emulate, you can download emulators for your phone, PS3, X360, all latest portable consoles.

I have done this because I'm an actual dev and have a couple of devkits.

I haven't tried out the emulators but they should work just fine. My biggest issue with this is that you have to keep switching between dev mode and regular mode, and the guide says it should be fine but I've had times when it wasn't and I had to format the console or resintall the firmware.

The guide also mentions you should not have to uninstall your apps when in devmode to return to normal mode, but doing so on my end crashes the console and I have to format it entirely.

So yeah, I think it's kinda dangerous but nothing you couldn't come back from.

You can't put emulators on the store anymore, they banned that from happening
