everyone who knew anything about the "game" part of it left. check the credits from prophecies to EOTN, it's constantly shifting. somewhere along the way enough of the important people moved out.

i wish i kept links and records of those fucks in the old days who were ranting and raving about how GW2 was so revolutionary. but i was a teenager and didnt understand the value of taking notes.

i specifically remember this one old guy talking on some younger guy's podcast or youtube show or something about how GW1 was just "hurrdurr" mindlessly pressing buttons in the same order over and over again where in GW2 you "actually have to think about it now". what a fucking load of shit, you needed more brains to play basically any F2P MMO that was on the market at the time than GW2. even in F2Ps they pretended they had some depth for at least a handful of hours, GW2 was obviously garbage within the first couple of minutes.

for a lot of people it was Spore, for me it was GW2.

and now i am never ever going to get my Nika porn.

That's why GW2 is just hollow garbage. I do remember trying out those pre and after Scarlet stories, but they were so boring and had nothing interesting for me in them, I didn't even finished them. I do still have GW1 installed and from to time I do come and play my characters JQ, or just PvE.

GW 1 - creating your own builds from around 100+ skills, using plenty of different skills, classes, titles, etc. You had to spend around couple hour's, or even days to build fantastic team.

GW 2 - you have 20 skills for each chara, those skills are unbalanced and boring, fights are always the same and borish, to change them, developers have to change them themselves. Story is poor and full of political agenda from current days. Most of the game designs are bad and poor.
