I don't play Smash Bros because it has characters I recognize, I play it because it's really god damn good. So I would play any smash clone regardless of the roster if it was great.

I play luigi, black mage, and kirby

Jacket
>Starts game with a bat
>Special is a pistol that does little ranged damage
>Side Special makes him throw his bat which when hits a players knocks them down, when Bat is not equipped by them the side special is just a punch which also can knock enemy players down. Jacket will get Bat back if thrown of stage but has large recharge time
>Down Special is an "execution" grab and beat down which can only be done by downed players, when done deals large amounts of damage and can smash them of stage
>Side Smash is him using a shotgun (low range for balance reasons), Up Samsh is him shooting an Uzi upward and Down Smash is just him using his bat
>Smash Ball Special is enemy player being sent into a dark room where 50 Blessings gang brutally beat them
Don't know what the hell the Up Special would be.

It's too soon to tell whether or not they've fucked themselves to that extent. They've been recently updated the fuck on NMS in hopes to save the little face they have.

Imagine if Nintendo worked together with Indie devs to make Super Smash Indies. Characters like Quote, Shovel Knight, Hollow Knight, Yooka Laylee, and of course, a Duck from Duck Game, all battling it out. I'd be down to buy that

Basically they pulled a Peter Molyneux and promised a lot of "innovative" and "game changing" mechanics and idea's but the final product barely had half of what the showed or said it'll have and the game itself was fairly bad to begin with.

They're whole essay's and video's explaining about everything they lied about but this is the TL;DR version.
