RE4 is my favorite game but I don't really care about Leon's VA.

I don't buy games because of a voice actor. Nobody does. Movie actors do get that recognition though, their face sells the movie for lots of people so they get paid continually.

Demanding residuals like you're a big Hollywood actor is laughable. And couldn't one little disagreement fuck up future distribution of a game or make them have to recast? Lots of games get pulled off digital stores or revised because expired music licenses.

I can agree with better work conditions though since packing tons of voice work in one day can ruin the actor's voice, which is their only worth.

But yeah as people have said before, this gives a chance for smaller actors to make a name for themselves. It's hard for me to care that the five voice actors I'm tired of hearing everywhere are on strike.
