Stormblood absolutely did them better. Coerthas Western, Azys Lla, and Churning Mists are absolute trash. Not in the sense that the general design for each area is bad, but because it's the exact same design spread over a huge map. Every area of each of those zones looks completely indistinct from the rest.

Stormblood has much more variety in each zone. Even the blandest zones still have sections of variety that break up the monotony.

It's almost like we knew Ala Mhigo was going to be shit since we first hit Little Ala Mhigo in ARR.
Nothing about it was every going to be good, and I think they realized this which is why they rolled parts of Doma into the expansion as well.
They had this entire Ala Mhigo set up ready to go years ago, but when it finally came time to do something with it they realized just how shit a full expansion of brown sand people would be.
Especially when a much more interesting and civilizee brown people desert exists as a much smaller island off the coast of Garlemald. I'm almost 100% sure that people would rather go to Thavnaria than shithole Ala Mhigo.

I think Triple Triad needs changes. It is a fun minigame for about an hour, then it loses all meaning.
I would love to see some changes and weekly tournaments. Lift up restrictions, but always use either plus or same rules to balance out.
Have a tournament where you get a few buster with some cards and you pick the best from there. At the end, you keep cards depending on how many matches you won.
