I kind of wish there was a more satisfying ending to Dr Breen. He was a cool villain; though he's obviously not your main enemy.

I think it has aged very well, the artistic aspects are very well thought out and realistic looking despite lacking detail in some places. It's also still enjoyable even today.

The war in the city is still fucking great even though the follower mechanic is kind of pathetic. Taking down the striders is one of the more memorable moments in the game. The sounds they make are so menacing and memorable.

Yeah, I remember loving it when it came out, but I bought it for $0.99 the other day and was surprised at how bored I was. I recently replayed VtmB, which is from the same time with the same engine, and even the shooting in that felt fresher and more fun. Half-Life's gameplay style has just been done to death.
