Are you stupid? I've yet to find a space sim that didn't have full joystick support. Elite, Evochron, Freespace 2, hell even the Star Wars X-Wing games can handle throttle.

Evochron is the most sandbox space game available. Compared to anything else, it's got more features for cheaper than Elite and Star Citizen. Definitely give it a shot, good time killer.

The two I was mostly interested are Everspace and House of the Dying Sun, I know they're not exactly sims but still could use a stick.
I could also name shitloads of other early access stuff I've been keeping an eye for months that I wouldn't mind supporting/trying out if it wasn't for lack of HOTAS support.

Is it really that hard to implement? do they really have to account for all possible models? I assumed there was some kind of standard or whatever just like with regular controllers, in fact I thought the ran on the same shit.

Everspace would play terrible with a joystick. It has very arcadey movement.

Also Evochron is boring as fuck.
