Couple of questions here from someone who's new to the game.

1. How evenly should I be leveling my roster? I'm at week 22 now, with 9 resolve level 3's, 5 resolve level 2's, and 6 level 1's. Seems like I'm gonna need 1's and 2's for a while to clear the lower level bosses, yeah?

2. Should I be looking to fully unlock the stagecoach (specifically increasing roster size)? I guess this kind of ties into the first question, if I need to keep some lower level guys around I'd guess a bigger roster makes that easier.

3. Someone redpill me on the Leper. I just can't see taking him over a Bounty Hunter, or a Crusader, or a Man-at-Arms. Then again I'm kind of a defensive player, I really like stuns, so that's probably why I've been shying away from him.

I really hated that I needed to make entire reserve teams and basically grind several teams at once just to make sure I didn't get wiped out and have stopped playing the game awhile ago

Did that new radiant mode or whatever or the DLC change this?

2)At the bare minimum its recommended to at least have it upgraded enough to send you 4 heroes for suicide/treasure runs every week. Other than that personal preference

3)Religious heavy-hitting tank that has the potential to one-shot most any boss with the proper setup/support with some painful drawbacks that can be mitigated like low accuracy, small move range, short attack range and being religious

I feel like weapon would be more useful. Armor will just give you some dodge and more HP. Weapon increases your Damage, Crit, Speed which will help with stress due to more crits, preventing damage from enemies by being faster and killing them faster and also dealing more damage in general.

DD is way harder than FTL and takes a lot more time even if you do everything right and never get fucked by the RNG.

I beat FTL on normal difficulty on my third or fourth try, but I still haven't beaten DD on normal difficulty.

If your team can't kill her, just leave. Bosses like that are easiest if you can reliably put some nice burst damage on the back row. If your team can't do that there's no shame in quitting the mission and coming back with a better team.

On hard mode the flagship layout is slightly different. The missile control room (and the laser room on the left) are connected to the rest of the ship, so you can't just board it and kill the guy and destroy it.

Post yer set ups, i use pretty much anything that deals damage with occultist and jester.

I'm still early game, just took out the Drowned Crew with Occultist / Houndmaster / Grave Robber / Jester. General strategy is finale with Jester, then he stabs his way back up to the front. Grave Robber can do her stun/fade move, then either throw dagger or lunge back up. Occultist is for debuff/mark/healing, Houndmaster can stun from the front 2 or use the doggo when he's futher back. Worked pretty well, although a little light on damage for a turn or two when you're in the wrong configuration.

DD is less fun. DD is also VERY tedious, EXTREMELY tedious, HORRENDOUSLY tedious. In FTL, an hour in and you were the the final boss, with you ship. I am 28hours into DD, and I still haven't beat any of the champion level bosses. I'm not going to beat it cause I have hit this proverbial wall where I cannot play for more than 20mins before getting bored out of my fucking mind.

DD puts me into a coma, there isn't enough variety in the enemy types or dungeon types to justify its length of grinding, upgrading and leveling up. Maybe it's a me thing since I've seen others with play time in the hundreds, but the game is so boring. I don't know if you're one of those people that gets bored by constant repetition, but if you are, stay away from this game.

Easier than FTL, don't believe the liars. FTL is as random, as random can be. DD is only random in a few aspect, and you can mitigate what they are to an extent.

Is there an easy way to determine turn order? Sometimes I find myself wondering if I should try and stun with my vestal or heal because I'm not sure if the houndmaster will go before or after the enemy gets to attack.
