I could never git gud at these games. I understand the controls, they make perfect sense, but for some reason no matter how much I tried, I just couldn't get to a point where even the most basic of movements wasn't a chore.

I played Katamari Damacy for the first time like, last year after hearing about it for so long and really liked it. I got stuck somewhere and haven't bothered going back to it since, especially since I don't have my PS3 with me atm. But I loved how refreshingly weird it was. I miss how in the 6th gen, we got all these weird games that had really fresh, original gameplay, where you couldn't even really place them in a genre because of how unconventional they were. I guess we have indies for that nowadays, though.
