Also this, really fun way to kill a few hours and feel good about accomplishing something.

If you play mostly multiplayer games, then look for some more relaxing single-player games to unwind with. I like multiplayer shooters a lot, but every once in a while I have to play something slower and more thought-intensive like a VN or a puzzle game.
Or you could take up running, DIY stuff, collecting, guns/cars as a hobby, or something creative. I goof around in photoshop and make OC for my favorite games from time to time. Really, the biggest hurdle is just getting out of your bubble.
Going for long walks / hiking is such a great way to appreciate all the digital content you consume. I love going for a hike without a phone or anything, then coming home and binging vidya. But hey man that's just me
Electronics, programming
That's all I do anyways, even though I program for my job. Electronics is a very expensive hobby though.

Books are a good option. I'm been interested in brushing up in history. Any recommended historical books?

I mostly play single player open world action games. On other occasions, I like playing challenging action games (i.e. cuhrayzee games).

I actually do this already. It really is nice, but I do this in my neighborhood. A park would be better.
