I still like it. The gameplay was fun and it tied the series up in a good way. I got mostly what I wanted, though bosses with more personality would have been great.

Release. Order. Yes, even the MSX games. MG2 ties heavily into MGS1 and nobody fucking knows this because they're all retards who skip. It's also a fucking fantastic game and worth trudging through MG1 to get to.

Don't listen to what anyone else says, this is the proper way to play through the series. You'll need a PS3 to play through all the series and a PS4/PC for MGSV. Get the Legacy Collection on PS3, it has everything besides MGSV. Also don't read the game introductions on the HD Collection's selection screen, that shit spoils stuff.
