Uncharted 4 would be BETTER if it had real cutscenes, but instead it has like 20 second long cutscenes followed by 5 minutes of slow paced walking-and-talking that the player has to press buttons to continue, instead of just watching. Uncharted 4 rations its conversations out line-by-line over the course of 10 minute long climbing sections instead of just letting the player watch and absorb it in a concise cutscene.

Metal Gear Solid has long, fleshed-out cutscenes followed by intensely fun concentrated gameplay sections resulting in an enjoyable experience, rather than blending the two together into an unsatisfying, badly-paced chore.
