That being said Metro is 90% gameplay with short periods to catch your breath at stations between missions. Kingdom Come and Witcher are RPGs so gameplay/walking around and questing is about 50/50. Cyberpunk we literally know nothing about.

Witcher 3 has the most solid gameplay of the series, though by the end yeah it gets pretty repetitive after 100 hours. Metro 2033 and Last Light have fucking amazing gunplay and I go back and replay them at least once a year.

witcher's open world wasn't the problem, it was the combat loop and spy vision quests.

invincibility spell, no stamina, forever resupplying potions. if something couldn't one shot you it's impossible to die because you just do shield spell, roll forever and heal up. game got incredibly easy on hardest difficulty by like lvl 8 or whenever you get the healing potion. oil system was shit, 1 correct oil for each enemy regardless of your character, weapon, gear, playstyle etc. the fighting was just boring. only good things were graphics, voicr acting and writing.

witcher 3's fighting was shit compated to any modern action rpg or action adventure game and if you weren't fighting you were following red dots eagle vision style. that's literally all you did in that game, fight or eagle vision (or follow map marker and watch cut scene)

metro I played on ranger for the atmosohere and I like everything great until it was time to fight. why bullet sponge enemies with no weak spots? yeah haha nice atmosphete you've built in the 30 minutes now we ruin it with shitty serious sam style shootouts and lame non-humanoid enemies.
