it's "fun" if you know you're way around but I wouldn't describe my first time with Demon's Souls or Dark Souls as a particularly "fun" experience. It was immersing in an unforgiving world, overcoming the challenges. It felt like something not really captured in the word fun, because I know I didn't have any fun when dying over and over again but still I kept pushing.
