I think you're supposed to go to greenpath and head to the top left to beat hornet and then go down to the bottom of greenpath to get to fog canyon. Or at least that's what I did.

You don't have to pay for the Resting Grounds station, you could get stuck there if you did.

After Greenpath I had like 1600. I grinded the last ~200 needed by just entering via the well going right to kill the guard husk and had to do that 3 times.

Anyways, seriously don't know wtf to do in Fog Canyon, black barriers keep popping up and blocking my path. Got frustrated and just killed No Eyes, which was 200 essence, and the one guy openned up a new path for me cause of that.
