I don't understand this board sometimes. I personally really enjoyed it, while acknowledging it has some flawsespecially that fucking ending jesus christ why. Even if you didn't enjoy it, surely it's a good thing that immersive sims are still being made in 2017?
Why do we take such joy in good concepts failing critically or financially?
It was 8/10 for me.
If a man's soul has rotted away he would rather watch something burn than enjoy himself.

schadenfreude for 1 part, but also i want to ask you if a game is dis-likable, how is it cynicism if the game truly does in fact, kinda suck?

Played the demo, couldn't get excited for it. Don't understand the hype.

I am going to guess that the majority of /v/ would rather have a game be good than bad.
It doesn't really happen all too often, so a bad game fulfills expectations. It's not like there are no good games coming out though, and a lot of times, /v/ has its head too far up its own ass to properly see which games are decent and which games are trash.
Pro tip. The number of good games is higher than the number of games deemed good by the majority of /v/.
>the name
>modern arkane seems to be hated by /v/
>general inaccessibility for the game itself
>little amount of marketing
Another thing, both this and Dishonored 2 are the example where piracy is helping because now people talks about it after they got cracked

Its a solid 8/10, but the ending was indeed poor. Better than Dishonored 2 though.
