Why is item management such a difficult thing to get right in RPGs? It's literally always bad on release with some games getting patches so it becomes acceptable. Why isn't it obvious people want to rearrange their loot? It seems like a small addition to the game for a massive QoL improvement.
Why would you want to rearrange your loot in modern games? It's there, if you need it for crafting or object interactions you'll use it automatically. Why would you give a shit how it's piled up in your inventory?

>Complains about inventory management in modern games where everything is automated anyway
>doesn't remember the pain of micromanaging your inventories in the ultima games with all the fucking bags
>tfw you accidently dropped that one major quest item somewhere in the world and you have no fucking clue where you left it and you're better off resetting your hundred hour journey then do it all over again
