For a small stint I had the problem of looking at games from a very reductionist viewpoint of keys and locks.

I eventually asked myself if there are more enjoyable activities I could be doing and realized that there were not.

Preferring to play games where I could invent my own keys and doors.
Self-imposed achievements really.
Testing the limits.
Trying for absurd permutations.
