Why aren't there any co-op RPGs? You would think that with the whole genre being based on Dungeons and Dragons, and whatnot, that this would be a natural step at one point. Implement real classes and stats into a game and it would be super easy to do.
I've been asking this for years, WoTC could get a lot of mileage out of a digital D&D game that isn't the MMO or any of the other games they've put out. Aside from Neverwinter, they've all been kinda crappy, and the options are too low. Let players create and upload maps, or even whole campaigns, and then players can play them. It can't be that hard, Diablo has the basic premise down, just don't give us any fucking premade characters and don't limit us to core races and classes.

Old school Snes FF games can be played two player. It's restricted to the battles, though.
co-op games in general kinda suck now which is a shame.

only co-op focused games are MMOs (which are WoW clones) or FPS games which are just KF/Payday hoard mode games.

divinity OS
older D&D games like neverwinter nights has it too
diablo clones and stuff
the original idea of a computer rpg is so you could play an rpg without other people though
