What are some other games with level up mechanics/skill system similar to Final Fantasy 2?
That is, the more you train that skill the more it levels up. I know Runescape is like that, but I'm not looking for MMOs
Also, I'm talking about the actual Final Fantasy 2 that was made after FF1, not FF4 which was called FF2 in the US.
Elder Scrolls? In Morrowind you had to fucking level up walking forever so your pace was faster than a snail's.

FF2 is such a weird game. But honestly one of my favorite FF game. FF3 however is the worse game in that series.

The saga series, FF2 could be thought of as a proto saga game. Square took the leveling concept for that and refined it greatly for saga.
