I know it's a meme thread, but how come no single player PC FPS games try the same aiming system? Where it aims around your screen and doesn't turn the camera until you reach the edge? I get why it wouldn't be great for multiplayer, but could be interesting for single player like it was for this and the Metroid Primes for Wii.

HL2 SMOD does that. Took me a bit to get use to but it's better imho. Feels way more immersive aiming around your screen instead of your screen always following where you're aiming.
