I let a neighborhood kid's friend borrow a majority of my Game Gear games, never got them back. It was a hard lesson, but it taught me to never lend anything to anyone again unless it's direct family. This includes money. Why people would ever let friends borrow your games without another game in return is beyond me. With my friends, the agreement was always, if you lost, damaged, or in any way kept my game, then i got to keep your game. The system worked extremely well at deterring theft, and we always got to play each others games, so its like we all had a much larger library than we actually did.
