As someone who's been with Rust since the Legacy era and got KF2 for free on PSN I have to say KF2 is the better buy. Playing Rust with friends can be great at times but KF2 with friends is even better.

KF2 and Rust are both mediocre games, the kind you'll love if it's what you're into and happens to be your style of game and just not really be impressed by if not. I wouldn't recommend either.

Its a fun game

KF2 is absolutely amazing if your into horde wave based games, and is still being regularly updated.

Kf2 is better

The trouble with KF2, is that currently only 2 of my friends own the game, while 10 of them own Rust

Killing Floor 2 is a blast.

I haven't played Rust so I can't speak on that.
