-Better loading times like you mentioned. This is inherent to the system's improved design, even if you use the same shitty HDD it loads faster than the OG PS4
-FPS is often improved and/or more stable. FPS does not magically double from 30 to 60 though, with very few exceptions
-You are pretty much guaranteed to get above 1080p resolutions with all games, while the OG PS4 has plenty of 900p games
-Unpatched games (AKA most games released before October 2016) still get marginal better performance through "boost mode"
-Graphical, Post-processing, and Image Quality improvements. Stuff like better AA or better draw distance or better texture filtering, so on and so forth.

I think that's it. Not all of those points apply to every single game consistently, but it's the general experience you'll get overall

What all did you do in the remodel? I'm thinking about redoing our main bathroom and residing the house.

Shit like nier, tekken and nioh both run at 1080p on the pro and 900p or even less on the base ps4. There are far more games that benefit from the ps4 pro on a 1080p screen than there are 4k games.
