Anon... Japan actually makes America look like there are no casuals here. They do more mobile gaming than us. They do lower difficulty settings than us. Why then do you blame the US for casualization?

Truth. Japanese version of Contra Hard Corps lets them take multiple hits before dying. They're are extreme casuals.
