Almost everyone you meet in the game has one purpose/reason to live, loses it and then goes insane or dies.
E ending asks you if it's ok to give up, or whether you want to carry on, no matter how hard or pointless it is.

That 2B virus scene really hit me.
I was planning on exploring for side quests, upgrading some weapons etc with her, but then she went away so sudden.

I think the story in automata is one of the most overrated on all of /v/, reaching even Kojima levels of being overrated.
But damn that soundtrack. One of the most beautiful soundtracks in a game in years, best I can honestly think of since maybe the first xenoblade.

For the next game how would you limit or prod Yoko Taro to get him to put out something as close to perfect.

With Automata I fucking adore it, but it doesn't pick up after itself, the side material is fine, even if its really heavy handed sentimential cliche at times.
