In terms of level design and emergent gameplay it's the best Immersive Sim since System Shock 2, it's a casual filter though.

Do you mean the world isn't interesting you as much as Bioshock is? Hard to say. There's admittedly less novelty in the setting but it does flesh out its own setting very well. If it's the gameplay you don't find interesting then, assuming you already have like 6-8 hours into it, there isn't too much else to see.
