It's a very odd game. It's a farily standard JRPG from story and gameplay perspective but you have like 7 party members and there can be a shit ton of enemies which creates those huge clusterfucks. I'd say their main focus was on presentation and setpieces which falls flat on it's face because the combat system is boring as fuck. I haven't played much but bosses were a huge joke aswell, sometimes you have humansized bosses and then you +6 other assholes in your party start beating him up while he super armors through everything.
