If you could choose to bring the world back to a primitive state without technology, would you?

No fucking way.
Technology alleviates part of inequality, as long as a person has the guile to pull through.
Sure, I don't really like video games anymore. So no one should be allowed to play them.
I'll kill myself after that.

I beat this game about a week ago, and I still can't decide which ending would be the best one. Part of what makes it such a great game.
>>381642907
tracer tong was an idiot.
>>381643019
I think that's the point, there is no factual truth in what is best for mankind.
>game is literally called deus ex
>not choosing the helios ending
>>381643019
Illuminati ending is just arbitrarily giving yourself less power and trusting a man who keeps his mentor in a fridge so he can probe his brain. You might as well go Helios in that case.
"We'll start again, live in villages!"
How did Tracer Tong predict mankind would resort to villages if a society with suburban houses and cities were already built?

So the funny part of this is that there would never be a second industrial revolution. We've used up all the easily accessible resources on the planet. The best they could hope for after a crash would be something like early renaissance tech.
>people misinterpreting the New Dark Age ending yet again
"Dark Age" is RELATIVE, blowing up area 51 does not somehow make all technological advancement since the middle ages magically disappear. Area 51 is the main hub for digital communications where all traffic is monitored. So you would lose all digital communication and the deep state's primary meansof control and surveillance. So you would lose the internet and whatever else has switched to digital in Deus Ex world, but that's it.
>>381643459
Yeah, exactly. It's just communications technology that's gone, so people will only be exposed to what's immediately around them.
>>381643459
I guess that would be alright.
>>381642907
lol wut r u sum kinda hippie? why would i?
>>381643019
They're all shit, I wouldn't say choosing which is the least shit is good.
All the endings should have been worthwhile, at the expense of other things.

>do absolutely nothing because if something can be destroyed it can be rebuilt very quickly
>become Walton Simmons
>upload an AI into your brain for no real reason when you should be uploading yourself into the system
I always just go with the Dark Age ending because it has the best music and the most hype. The other endings are boring.
