Pretty sure most of /v/ loves Cave Story to the point where Quote is one of the more popular indie Smash reps requested here but there's really nothing more to discuss in regards to a decade old game. I skipped that health capsule, it seemed a bit stupid to give up on a 3hp run that late in the game. The snake makes the Core and hell considerably easier, but otherwise the spur is fine, I think. I did have to replay the game for the snake to make much progress in hell, though.

Can't say I'd expect most people to enjoy the game on 3hp even if I did - I tend to like self-imposed buster-only run style challenges to begin with. Given the damage values in the game, a 10-20 hp cap with strategically placed health upgrades would've been a much better hard mode.

And the game used its time altering mechanics quite uniquely. Each world had something different to offer and getting all the puzzles pieces was actually difficult.
