This is pretty much the answer at its core level.

I'll defend Atlus to death because they're the only game company I know who hasn't made a bad sequel or a bad game so far. At least as far as Persona/SMT/Catherine is concerned. So many other developers who we thought were awesome or "bros" turned out to stab us in the back, like Fromsoft and Rockstar.

Or acting as if they're unreleased game being a future financial success somehow equates to it being a good game, or a game worth getting.
