Breath of Fire 2 final dungeon was awful regarding this.

Plenty of either resilent or fast enemies with the death spell and the best way to get rid of them instantly either takes all your mana (G. Dragon/Kaiser Dragon) or is RNG (Angel).

Not to mention Infinity was a very long and tedious dungeon in general with a very high encounter rate. At least it had its good moments.
