Build your own or commit suicide.
>>
>>381560068
for 1080p 60fps yeah it's easily good enough
>>
>>381560068
yes, it's good. Especially for 1080p / 60fps gaming, though you can already have a taste of 1440p OR 120fps gaming with it too.

And ignore the RAM fags. Eight gigs is still more than enough, though it doesn't hurt to get more.
>>
Specs aren't bad for a prebuilt PC at that price but you should still take everyone's advice and consider just building one.

Hey OP. That system looks not bad. I got the corsair one:

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/landing/one

I really don't care what /v/ says, I am always going to buy gaming prebuilts just for convenience and ease of mind. I am the type of person that would build his own but worry about EVERY SINGLE technical mishap that happens in the lifespan of the computer (FPS low on one game? fuck me man I probably plugged it in wrong.. etc)

i recommend more RAM tho
>>
>>381560068
Don't ever get an HP and this Omen is straight rip off. I know it's been said in this thread but build your own.
>>
Just build one you fucking loser, it's so easy.
>>
>>381560068
>want a good gaming pc

Pick one and only one.
>>
>>381560068
Not a bad deal for a prebuilt. I say go for it, learn how PCs work hardware-wise through doing upgrades yourself, then build your own in a few years. Personally I jumped right in and built my own, which was a great learning experience, but YMMV.
>>
>>381560542
SSD is a fucking overpriced meme with barely any benefits.

>inb4 "m-muh faster boot time!"
kys and keep your system clean. Most games don't even benefit from SSDs, and you can grab HDD of 8 terabytes for the same price you'd get 500GB SSD.

Why cheapest or most of time sold at a discount.
Meme brand are cancer, go to your local computer store where they make custom builds.

you can build a ryzen 1600 + 1060 6gb system for that much
>>
if you don't want to literally build one yourself then buy the parts and take it to your local shop and they will build it for you. stop being a faggot. don't buy pre built shit
>>
>>381560068
If you want prebuilt, get a console.
Otherwise, build your PC.
>>
>>381560713
There isn't going to be any upgrading if he gets a prebuilt. The most he can do is stick in a stick of ram. All the prebuilds come with an OEM PSU, He'll only have enough power to add in a marginally better card, and he MAY have enough cables running out of it to add a new HDD. There's no upgrading pre-builds. You can boost performance in an insignificant way without tearing it down all the way. Not to mention OEM cases are made for specific builds, so he'd have to look for a PSU in a non-standard size if he wanted something better, and even if he did magically find a good PSU in a non-standard size he'd still be stuck with shitty GPU selection because OEM cases that prebuilds use only allow for the length of mid to low tier cards.

>>381560772
Not really, just because a PC has "MUH POWER" doesn't make it good, Alienware is garbage.

>Want a good gaming PC
>Don't want to build one
These are literally the only two options, and you can literally only pick one.
>>
>>381560068
>don't wanna build one
Prebuilts generally rip you off, Just stick to console retard
>>
OP here i guess ill fucking man up and build one but i dont wanna wait a month to get all the parts nor do i know the first thing about what a pc needs
>>
>>381560763
It's not overpriced, it's easy to make a SSD for 100 dollars your main drive for windows and add a slave drive for storage. It not only boots quicker but loads all programs quicker.

>>381561479

there's nothing embarrassing about NOT falling for SSD meme.
>>
>>381561337
>SSD for 100 dollars
I've never paid that much for a storage media, and I'm not going to do so in the future either.

I got 7 Terabytes of HDDs for 70€ last year. Call me when SSDs are down to as low prices.
>>
>>381561317
just make sure everything is compatible with your motherboard. it's not hard
>>
>>381560068
yes, it'll grant you 1080p 60fps on medium-high for all games released until now. price is decent as well.

however, if you later get into PC hardware you'll regret the shitty power supply, case, non overclockable board+cpu and heatsink.
Those will cost a bit more, but you can keep a 750w gold for a long time, as well as a case which you like can be reused for later builds with no regrets
>>
>>381560206
8GB is fine you dumb fuck. You are better off with a stronger processor or graphics card

>>381560068
No SSD though.

>>381560763
Your a fucking retard. SSD are totally worth it. It's great that the computer waits on me now vs me waiting on my computer. Shit isn't bogged down.

>you can grab HDD of 8 terabytes for the same price you'd get 500GB SSD.
Wow, you are a double retard. Hybrid solutions is where it is at. Get like a 120GB or 256GB SSD to install the OS and programs to and use a big ass HDD to store documents videos and other shit that just hordes space.
>>
>>381561651
Not sure where you are getting HDD so cheap but I imagine whatever the source would have SSD cheaper than my estimate
>>
>>381561317
pcpartipicker.com
Just start a build here and post when you're finished.
>>
It isn't bad specs for the price, but the issue with pre-builts is that any of its components could be faulty and you'll have to replace them out of pocket, which could easily boost the price up beyond if you just built your own.

Moreso, don't EVER rely on GeekSquad to tell you these things or you'll end up paying double.
>>
>>381560068
yes, because you dont want to build one just get more ram Or you can find a computer part shop that can build the pc for you with the parts you picked out
>>
>>381561317
>but i dont wanna wait a month to get all the parts
I don't understand what you're trying to say.

Ordering parts doesn't take any longer than ordering prebuilds.

And ordering parts one by one across a longer timeframe is frowned upon anyway, because RMA time is short, with no way to test them outside of a build ordering parts one by one is essentially gambling.

Not to mention you end up paying more if you wait, there are constantly deals for combos, check tiger direct and newegg, a lot of times they offer CPU+Mobo combo, you look up the CPU online, see its performance there are countless benchmarks for all of them. If it fits what you want price and performance-wise, drop it in the cart, then look at the Motherboard stats to make sure the RAM, GPU etc... are using the right standard.

Then when you decide on the GPU use this to determine what PSU you want.
https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator
Try and get a silver or better rated (They're rated by their efficiency) Make sure you don't end up splurging on a PSU that's too powerful because their efficiency drops too far outside of about 75% capacity. So if you get a too powerful PSU and you're only ever using 45% of its capacity, you're basically wasting power.
>>
>>381561479
he's partially right, at least for denuvo games
I tried to swap MD to ssd to get rid of the awful load times but apprently it's doing some checks during loading and havent seen any improvements.
apparently the theory got confirmed for ryme and syberia
>>
>>381561579
>there's nothing embarrassing about NOT falling for SSD meme.
Its embarrassing seeing how little you know about SSDs.

I already posted an argument and proof that they perform far better than HDDs.

Either post proof of otherwise, or you can stay a pathetic little troll.
>>
>>381560810
PC building is literally Legos for adults. I'm a retard and yet I was able to put something together and it works fine. Extremely satisfying pressing the power button for the first time and seeing it come to life.

>122
Come now anon. We know you shopped this in.
>>
If you really don't want to build your own, just order the parts online, take them to a local PC store (a privately owned one, not bestbuy or some shit) and they'll gladly build it for you for $50 or something
>>
>>381562046
desu i would recommend going to the shop and buying a psu. i have so much bad luck with power supplies from newegg that i just stopped buying them from there. if my psu dies i just drive 15 minutes and get a new one
>>
>>381562132
>he's partially right, at least for denuvo games

That's not partially right though. Denuvo is a performance impact everywhere, it literally hits everything from storage to the GPU, the newest version is the worst, doing about 400 function calls per second.

That's not on SSDs, that's on Denuvo being a spyware.
>>
>>381560068

750w is just extra insurance that you're never going to be wanting for power. I bought a 750w PSU back in 2010 and it's still going strong with nary a hitch, plus it was only about $10 more than another model at 500w.
