Why? Double bladed swords have a logic in to them; they're long and balanced and multi purpose and they're still a single instrument so using them would be easy. I've always dug the random dip into System Shock with Peragus. It's the 1-2 punch of Peragus and Telos that it makes the beginning of the game suck so much because it's too much of the same plodding pacing and metallic interior environments, not so much them by themselves.

Honestly the entire game has pretty awful pacing which is somewhat compounded by the "restored" content in TSLRCM.
