Seriously, I don't know what the fuck they were thinking. Marvel 3 was a success because:
-3v3 with assists and a massive roster made more characters viable and added a shitload of options to test
-the LMH + launcher controls had no real impact on what combos were possible but made controls more intuitive (and provided a way for people to do simple low-damage combos without mashing square like a 'tard)
-the aforementioned massive roster of fan favorites

This game is 2v2 with no assists, is back to the much more obtuse marvel 2 controls, and for some reason added a Capcom X Tekken style partner swap.

Dragon ball games always die online and community wise, sometimes slower sometimes faster.

What could be the difference here is how the FGC takes the game when it arrives, though how the DBZ community receives it as well since there seems to be a lot of crying from part of the fanbase that literally played nothing but 3D arena DBZ fighting games for years.

Reminder that Broly did not even scream "KAKAROT" one time after he transformed, nor did he even show that he cared about Goku more then the others. He also had coherent speech and wasn't retarded. Goku was merely a trigger which helped him break free from mind control, after Broly goes LSSJ the "KAKAROT" memes get thrown in the trash.

So why again was he a better villain than Vegeta? Who cried like a bitch after nearly every loss, was actually a fucking idiot half the time and probably even more edgy than Broly while he was on Earth and Namek, had no sort of unique or interesting fighting style unlike Broly who used moves never before seen in DB.
