What the fuck is up with this game?

What is the point of all this? Was that part of my mission? Is this some sort of moral choice shit? Like what the fuck, a bit of information from the game would be nice.
I don't even know why I'm asking here, nobody seems to have played it.

You got all the info there.
There's more about her but it takes a ton of effort to get there and you need her alive. It's all side stuff anyway, there's no bad ending or anything, eating her neurons gets you the glow upgrade early so that's something, especially with what's coming next.
