This happens to me too OP, I learned to live with it. Alternative movement thing did nothing to fix it for me. It's a known issue that people have brought up if you google it, something about the game being sensitive about the controller not being centered or something.

I've read in places getting a new controller *might* fix it, but no other games I play have this issue so I'm not going to bother.
