I heard that collection has a few issues. Also, depending on the console/handheld of your choice, you can buy the games separately.

Just emulate it. I personally haven't played MMLC nor have heard anything about it, but I doubt it has anything that would make playing it over the originals much better.

if you have to pick one compilation for console, get the Anniversary collection for PS2/Xbox/Gamecube

That collection is fucking awful and riddled with bugs. That and no button mapping so if you're Gamecube you jump with B and shoot with A.

What I liked about ps2 collection was they fixed the lag if you enabled remaster mode.
